Kirin and Nihon-Sakari Team Up to Launch New Health Food Containing Plasma Lactococcus
Major beverage manufacturer Kirin and sake brewery Nihon-Sakari have jointly developed a new health food product. The product launched is a functional labeled food named "Wagen Koso." It is attracting attention as a new option for the many consumers who are health-conscious.
A major feature of this product is that it combines the strengths of both companies. Over its more than 130-year history, Nihon-Sakari has refined its fermentation technology. The plant-based enzymes created using that technology are combined with "Plasma Lactococcus," a proprietary ingredient that Kirin has been researching for many years.
Kirin has been conducting research on immunity for over 40 years, and Plasma Lactococcus is one of the results of that work.
