Malaysia's Cultural Diversity Is a Special Gift, Says Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur
The Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, Archbishop Julian Leow, recently emphasized that the cultural and religious diversity in Malaysia is a very precious gift. He called on all Malaysians to continue to cherish this uniqueness as the country's main strength in building a harmonious society.
According to him, the spirit of unity that has been practiced by Malaysians for a long time needs to be nurtured more deeply. The diversity of backgrounds, languages, and beliefs not only reflects the nation's identity but also serves as a bridge to strengthen relationships between races at various levels of society.
Archbishop Leow also stated that mutual respect for one another is the key to maintaining peace. He hopes that these noble values can be passed down to the younger generation so that they will continue to appreciate the harmony enjoyed today.
In conclusion, this message serves as an important reminder to all Malaysians about the importance of tolerance. By continuing to celebrate differences and living in an atmosphere of goodwill, Malaysia can become an example of a peaceful and united country in the eyes of the world.
