Spotify Audiobook Feature Coming Soon to Users in Malaysia
Popular music streaming platform, Spotify, has announced the upcoming expansion of its audiobook feature to the Malaysian market. This move is part of the company's efforts to diversify its digital content beyond music and podcasts.
Previously, the audiobook feature was only available in select countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. With this new update, users in Malaysia will have access to thousands of book titles across various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and personal development books.
Users can purchase audiobooks individually through the Spotify app. Once purchased, the books will be stored in the user's personal library and can be listened to at any time, even without an internet connection if downloaded beforehand.
This initiative is seen as an exciting development for literacy enthusiasts in Malaysia who enjoy listening to audio content while commuting or performing daily activities. It also provides users with more options to enjoy literary works in a more convenient digital format.
Although an official launch date has not been announced in detail, Spotify stated that this feature will begin to roll out gradually to all users in Malaysia. The public is advised to keep their Spotify app updated to ensure access to this latest feature once it becomes available.
