DARE Study: Cost of Living and the Nation's Future Become Primary Concerns for Malaysians
A recent qualitative study conducted by the research body DARE has found that Malaysians are increasingly concerned about the economic situation and the direction of the country. This study focused on public sentiment regarding current issues that directly impact their daily lives.
Among the main issues raised is the rising cost of living, which is becoming increasingly burdensome. Many respondents stated that the increase in the prices of essential goods has left them feeling pressured and forced to be more cautious in managing their monthly family expenses.
Beyond economic factors, the study also touched upon public concerns regarding social and political stability in Malaysia. Respondents expressed curiosity and a hope that the government could provide a clearer picture of the country's future development trajectory.
The issue of social unity was also a focus of this study. Citizens hope that inter-racial harmony can continue to be preserved despite the various political challenges that have occurred at the national level recently.
In conclusion, the findings of this study indicate that Malaysians are strongly hoping for concrete solutions to economic problems and leadership capable of bringing stability. The results of this study are expected to serve as a guide for the authorities in drafting more inclusive policies for the well-being of the people.
