Over 200 residents participate in free health screening program
More than 200 residents attended a free health screening program held recently. This initiative aims to help the local community monitor their health levels more easily and effectively.
Among the services offered during the program were blood pressure and blood glucose level checks. In addition, the organizers also provided screenings for osteoporosis to assist in the early detection of bone-related issues.
For those with vision problems, eye examinations for farsightedness or presbyopia were also available. The program also gave the public the opportunity to obtain advice regarding traditional medicine as an alternative form of healthcare.
The encouraging response from the residents shows a high level of awareness regarding the importance of maintaining personal health. The organizers hope that programs like this can be continued in the future to ensure more Malaysians have access to basic health check-ups.
