Four Foreign Nationals Detained for Performing Illegal Dental Procedures
Malaysian health authorities have detained four foreign nationals in a recent raid. They are suspected of being involved in illegal dental treatment activities conducted without a valid license from the government.
The raid was carried out by a team of enforcement officers from the Oral Health Division. This operation was conducted to ensure the safety of the public from medical services that are not recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH).
According to reports, these individuals offered dental services to the public without possessing recognized professional qualifications. Such activities are highly dangerous because they do not comply with the hygiene and safety standards set by medical authorities.
The public is advised to be more cautious and not be easily deceived by offers of cheap dental treatments on social media or at unregistered premises. Unsafe dental treatments can lead to infections and serious health complications.
This case is currently being investigated under relevant laws to ensure that strict action is taken against those involved. The MOH will continue to monitor the situation to curb these illegal activities from becoming widespread in the country.
