Perikatan Nasional Claims ROS Registration Warning is Political Pressure
The Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition recently voiced concerns after receiving a warning from the Registrar of Societies (ROS) regarding the potential deregistration of the coalition. PN claims that this action was taken with ill intent and is aimed at exerting political pressure on them.
According to an official statement from PN, the warning is considered an unjustified form of political attack. They asserted that the coalition has consistently complied with the regulations and laws set by the authorities throughout the period of its establishment.
In response to this situation, the PN leadership has issued a 'gag order' to all party members. This step was taken to prevent any statements that could exacerbate the situation or be misinterpreted by outside parties while awaiting further discussion with the ROS.
This issue has attracted the attention of many in Malaysia as it involves the stability of a major political organization in the country. The public is now awaiting further clarification from the ROS regarding the actual reasons behind the warning to ensure transparency in the organizational administration process.
For now, PN has stated its readiness to cooperate with the ROS to resolve any technical issues that may arise. They hope that this matter can be resolved fairly without involving any political agenda that could undermine the democratic process in Malaysia.
