PM Anwar: Leverage Technology Without Neglecting Moral Values
Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, recently delivered an important message to the people regarding technological development. He emphasized that while we must welcome technological progress with open arms, we must not forget moral and ethical values in our daily lives.
According to him, mastering technology is a necessity in this day and age, especially in the field of education. He encourages the people to continue learning and mastering new skills so that Malaysia can compete on the global stage. However, he reminded that such progress must go hand in hand with the development of good personal character.
In his speech, he used the expression 'reach for the skies, but keep your feet on the ground.' This means that even as we pursue high ambitions and modern innovation, we must always remember our roots and the human values that form the foundation of our society. He believes that technology without moral values can have negative consequences for the future of the country.
Therefore, the Prime Minister calls on all parties, especially educators and students, to balance modern knowledge with the formation of identity. He hopes that the young generation of Malaysia will not only become experts in the field of technology but also become individuals with high integrity.
In conclusion, this message is an important reminder for Malaysians to continue moving forward in the digital era. By combining technological expertise with strong moral values, Malaysia is expected to be able to produce a more progressive and harmonious society.
