The Hague Academy of International Law Delegation Visits Malaysia
A group of participants from the summer course of The Hague Academy of International Law paid an official visit to Malaysia on August 10, 2026. This visit aimed to strengthen diplomatic ties and share knowledge regarding international law between the institution and Malaysian authorities.
Throughout the visit, the participants engaged in discussion sessions regarding Malaysia's role in the global legal arena. This meeting provided an opportunity for Malaysian representatives to discuss current issues involving international cooperation and the rule of law on a global level.
Beyond the academic and legal aspects, the visit also touched upon cultural exchange between both parties. The delegation was also provided with information regarding Malaysia's participation in international cultural events, including the World Music Contest (WMC) held in Kerkrade, Netherlands.
This program is seen as a positive step in promoting Malaysia to the world, particularly among international legal practitioners and academics. It is hoped that such collaborations can be continued in the future to enhance understanding of the country's legal system on a global scale.
