Malaysian Startup Secures RM9.4 Million in Funding for AI Chip Technology
A Malaysian deep-tech company, nanoSkunkWorkX, recently succeeded in raising US$2 million, or approximately RM9.4 million. This investment is intended to support the development of thermal management technology for artificial intelligence (AI) chips.
The technology developed by the company is crucial in addressing the issue of AI chip packaging congestion. As AI chips are widely used, they often generate high heat, which can affect the performance and lifespan of the devices.
With this new injection of funds, nanoSkunkWorkX plans to accelerate the production process and bring their technology to the stage of commercial use. This step is expected to assist the global semiconductor industry in addressing increasingly complex technical challenges.
This success proves that startups from Malaysia are capable of competing internationally in the high-tech sector. It also demonstrates Malaysia's great potential to become an important player in the global AI technology supply chain in the future.
