Mexico to invest 181 billion pesos to improve its hospitals
The Federal Government of Mexico has announced an ambitious plan to improve the public health system throughout the country. With a total investment of 181 billion pesos, authorities seek to modernize medical infrastructure and ensure that more citizens have access to quality services.
This project includes the construction of new hospitals in various regions of the country. In addition to the new buildings, the plan includes the expansion of existing clinics. The primary objective is to reduce waiting times and offer faster and more efficient care to patients who need it.
One of the most important goals of this initiative is to increase hospital capacity by more than 16,000 beds. This will allow the health system to serve a greater number of people simultaneously, especially in areas where the demand for medical services has grown rapidly in recent years.
With this historic investment, the government expects to strengthen the well-being of the Mexican population. It is expected that these infrastructure improvements will not only benefit current patients, but also prepare the country to face future public health challenges with better resources and technology.
