Good news for motorcycle fans: Dutch TT 2026 to be broadcast for free on YouTube
The TT Assen is one of the largest and most popular sporting events in the Netherlands. Every year, thousands of fans come to Drenthe to see the spectacular motorcycle races up close. For the 2026 edition, there is now important news for people who prefer to follow the races from their couch. The sports channel Ziggo Sport will be broadcasting the entire event live.
Ziggo Sport has announced that they will broadcast all parts of the race weekend in Assen. This means that fans can watch not only the main races on Sunday but also all practice sessions and qualifying on the preceding days. The shorter Sprint race and the races in the Moto3 and Moto2 classes will also be fully available to follow.
What makes this news particularly special is the accessibility of the footage. In 2026, the races will not only be available to people with a Ziggo Sport subscription. The channel has decided to also offer the Dutch TT for free via YouTube. This allows anyone with an internet connection to follow the action on the track live, without any additional costs.
The TT Assen is known worldwide as the 'Cathedral of Speed'. It is a historic circuit where races have been organized since 1925. For Dutch sports enthusiasts, it is an absolute highlight on the sporting calendar. Through the extensive broadcasts on both television and the internet, the event will become even more accessible to a large and diverse audience.
With this decision, the channel hopes to get more people excited about motorcycle racing in the Netherlands. Although the year 2026 is still some time away, fans can already look forward to a weekend full of speed and excitement. It promises to be a grand spectacle that will be easy for everyone in the country to follow.
