Three Dutch entrepreneurs develop new app during hiking trip
Three young Dutch IT entrepreneurs have found an unusual way to work on their latest project. While hiking the famous 'Camino de Santiago' pilgrimage route, they were simultaneously building a new application. This unconventional work environment created a unique combination of physical exertion and digital innovation.
The entrepreneurs walked hundreds of kilometers through Spain to clear their heads and come up with creative ideas. During rest periods in the evenings, they worked on the app's code. According to the creators, the tranquility of nature and daily movement help to solve complex technical problems faster.
The app they developed focuses on improving productivity for other young entrepreneurs. The idea for the software actually originated from the simplicity of walking. The creators wanted to create a tool that helps people focus on their most important goals without being distracted by unnecessary features.
Although working on the road was physically demanding, the three men look back on the adventure positively. They have since launched the first version of the app to the general public. The success of this project shows that an office environment is not always necessary to achieve good results.
The entrepreneurs are now back in the Netherlands and are preparing for the next phase of their company. They hope their story inspires other young creators to think outside the box when developing new technology.
