Expedia and Allegiant Travel announce new partnership
Expedia Group, one of the world's largest travel organizations, has announced a new strategic partnership. The company will work closely with Allegiant Travel, a well-known American airline, for a period of twelve months.
Through this collaboration, both companies aim to better align their services. For travelers, this means it will become easier to book Allegiant Travel flights via Expedia's platforms. The companies hope to reach more customers and improve the booking experience with this move.
Although Allegiant Travel is primarily active in the US market, the news is relevant to the international travel industry. Expedia Group is a global player that is also widely used in the Netherlands by consumers planning their vacations online.
The partnership takes effect immediately and will last for at least one year. It is an example of how large travel platforms are trying to expand their offerings by entering into partnerships with specific airlines. Whether this collaboration will be extended in the future is not yet known at this time.
