Japanese skincare brand Curél expands to Europe
The Japanese cosmetics company Kao Corporation has announced that they will be bringing their well-known skincare brand Curél to the Nordic countries in September. This brand is known worldwide for its focus on sensitive skin and strengthening the natural skin barrier. The expansion into Northern Europe is an important step in the company's international growth strategy.
Curél has been a market leader in dermatological care in Japan for years. The products contain a special ingredient called 'ceramide', which helps to retain moisture in the skin and reduce irritation. Many consumers with dry or sensitive skin use these products to keep their skin healthy and supple.
Although the launch in September is specifically aimed at the Scandinavian market, many cosmetic brands are closely watching developments in Europe. The demand for scientifically backed skincare is also growing steadily in the Netherlands. Consumers are increasingly looking for products that are mild on the skin and do not contain unnecessary additives.
Whether and when the brand will officially come to Dutch stores has not yet been announced by Kao Corporation. For the time being, the focus of the expansion remains limited to the Nordic region. Enthusiasts of Japanese skincare in the Netherlands will therefore have to wait a little longer to see if they will soon be able to purchase the products locally.
