TomTom co-founder Corinne Vigreux helps young people build a future in the tech sector
Corinne Vigreux, one of the co-founders of the well-known Dutch navigation company TomTom, has been included in the prestigious Tech30 list. This list recognizes influential individuals who are bringing about positive change in the world of technology through their work.
Vigreux has long been committed to supporting young people who have fewer opportunities in the labor market. Through her initiative Codam, a successful coding school in Amsterdam, she offers these young people the chance to develop into software developers. The school is accessible to everyone, regardless of their prior education or background.
What makes Codam unique is its teaching method: there are no teachers and no fixed classes. Students learn through projects and by collaborating with fellow students. In this way, they are prepared for the reality of the tech sector, where problem-solving skills and collaboration are essential.
With this project, Vigreux aims to discover and foster hidden talent in society. By providing these young people with the right tools and knowledge, she helps them secure a stable future. Her work demonstrates that technology is not just about innovation, but also about creating equal opportunities for everyone.
