Utrecht welcomes international congress on women in the travel industry
On September 16 and 17, a special event will take place in Utrecht: the International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum. This congress brings together professionals from all over the world to discuss the future of the travel industry. It is the first time that this important event is being organized in the Netherlands.
The main goal of the forum is to focus on themes such as inclusion, leadership, and change. The organization wants to demonstrate how important diversity is for the tourism sector. During the two days in Utrecht, various presentations and discussions will be held on how the sector can improve and innovate.
The choice of the Netherlands as the host country is notable. The travel industry is a major economic sector in our country, and there is a great deal of focus on sustainability and equal opportunities. By bringing this congress to Utrecht, the Dutch travel industry gets the chance to share knowledge with international experts and make new contacts.
The event is intended for everyone working in the tourism and travel industry who wants to commit to a more inclusive work environment. The organization hopes that the insights from this congress will lead to concrete steps for more women in leadership positions within the travel world.
With this forum, Utrecht puts itself on the map as a city where important international conversations about the future of work take place. Participants can look forward to an inspiring program that aims to help the travel industry in the Netherlands and beyond move forward.
