YouTube Premium increases prices for Dutch users
YouTube Premium users in the Netherlands are facing a price increase. The video platform has announced that the cost for an individual subscription will rise to 15.99 euros per month.
This change means that subscribers will pay more for the service, which allows them to watch videos without ads and provides access to YouTube Music. The price hike comes at a time when many streaming services are adjusting their rates.
For existing subscribers, the new price will soon be visible on their invoices. YouTube has not yet announced whether other subscription types, such as the family plan, will also increase in price.
The increase is part of a broader trend in which digital subscription services are raising their prices. Users who wish to cancel their subscription can easily do so via their account settings on the platform.
