Spotify increases prices for Dutch users

Users of the music service Spotify in the Netherlands must now account for higher costs. The company has confirmed that subscription prices for the Benelux region and Argentina are being increased. This price hike comes as a surprise to many listeners.
The prices are rising by approximately 17 percent. For the various subscriptions, this means that the monthly costs for users will increase significantly. For example, the price for certain packages is rising from 20 to 20 euros, and for other options, the rate is going from 21 to 24 euros per month.
Spotify indicates that this adjustment is necessary to continue improving its services. The platform continues to invest in new features and the quality of its music library. The price increase applies immediately to new subscribers, while existing customers will receive a notification regarding the new rates in the short term.
