New network of 'IX Labs' makes modern technology accessible throughout the Netherlands
The Netherlands is getting a new national network of five regional innovation centers, known as 'IX Labs'. These laboratories have been specifically set up to make immersive technology, such as virtual reality and augmented reality, accessible to a wider audience.
The five locations are spread across the entire country. They are situated in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hilversum, Zeist, and the Brabant region. This geographical distribution allows companies, students, and creative professionals in different parts of the Netherlands to make use of the facilities.
In these labs, users can experiment with the latest digital techniques. The goal is to increase knowledge about these complex technologies and to stimulate the development of new applications. This is important for the digital growth of the Dutch economy.
With the arrival of these IX Labs, the Netherlands hopes to strengthen its position as a leader in the field of innovation. In the coming period, the centers will open their doors to everyone who wants to learn how to work with the technology of the future.
