New Zealand Agencies Shine at Prestigious AWARD Awards
The New Zealand creative industry recently celebrated significant success at the annual AWARD Awards, a major event recognizing excellence in advertising and design across the region. Local agencies performed exceptionally well, proving that New Zealand continues to be a hub for world-class creative talent.
McCann New Zealand played a key role in their network’s overall success. Thanks to a strong performance by the local team, the McCann network was named Agency Network of the Year. This achievement highlights the high standard of work being produced by their Auckland-based office.
Meanwhile, the independent creative agency Motion Sickness stood out by winning the highest number of gold awards during the ceremony. Their success reflects a growing trend of smaller, independent agencies in New Zealand gaining recognition for bold and innovative campaigns that capture public attention.
The AWARD Awards serve as an important benchmark for the advertising industry in Australasia. By competing against top firms from across the region, New Zealand agencies have once again demonstrated their ability to create impactful and effective communication strategies.
This recognition is a positive sign for the local creative sector, which contributes significantly to New Zealand’s cultural and economic landscape. As these agencies continue to win international and regional praise, they remain at the forefront of the creative industry.
