REANNZ Strengthens Leadership Team with New Appointments
The Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand (REANNZ) has announced two significant additions to its leadership team. The organization, which provides high-performance networking services to the research, education, and innovation sectors, has appointed Jane McGale as its first-ever Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Jane McGale brings extensive experience to the role, where she will be responsible for overseeing the company’s technical strategy and infrastructure. Her appointment marks a new chapter for REANNZ as it looks to modernize its network capabilities to better support New Zealand’s scientific and academic communities.
In addition to the new CTO, REANNZ has hired Dougal Macdiarmid as the company’s new Partnerships Director. In this role, Mr. Macdiarmid will focus on building stronger connections with stakeholders and industry partners across the country. His work is expected to help the organization expand its reach and improve collaboration within the digital research landscape.
