Hawke's Bay Tradies Launch Road Trip to Support Men's Mental Health
Two young tradesmen from Hawke’s Bay have started a unique journey across New Zealand to raise awareness for men’s mental health. The pair is travelling to different towns and cities, using their professional window-cleaning skills to connect with local communities and start important conversations.
By offering their services as they travel, the men hope to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues. They believe that many men find it difficult to talk about their feelings, and they want to show that it is okay to ask for help.
All the money raised during their road trip will be donated to mental health charities. The initiative has already received positive feedback from the public, with many people supporting their mission while getting their windows cleaned at the same time.
This project highlights the growing focus on mental wellbeing in New Zealand. By combining their trade with a charitable cause, these two young men are making a practical difference and encouraging others to prioritize their mental health.
