Emergency Services Respond to House Fire in Auckland
Emergency services were called to a residential fire in the Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill on Monday afternoon. The fire started at a house on Bremner Avenue, causing concern for local residents.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) received multiple calls about the incident at approximately 4:20 PM. Carren Larking, the FENZ Northern shift manager, confirmed that teams were sent to the location immediately to bring the flames under control.
Witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the property as fire crews arrived at the scene. Several fire engines were parked along the street, and firefighters worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses.
At this stage, it is not yet known if anyone was inside the building when the fire began or what caused the blaze. Authorities are expected to investigate the scene once the fire is completely extinguished to determine the exact cause of the incident.
