Hospital Staff Secure New Pay Agreement
Hospital workers employed by Ovation and OCS have reached a new agreement regarding their employment contracts. This update follows recent negotiations between the companies and the E tū union, aiming to address the needs of staff members across these facilities.
Under the terms of the new deal, all union members will receive a 2.5% pay increase. This raise is designed to support employees as they continue their essential work within the healthcare sector.
In addition to the salary increase, the agreement includes a one-off payment for staff. Every employee will receive a $1,000 lump sum bonus. This benefit also applies to staff members who are currently on approved leave, ensuring that all eligible workers are included in the settlement.
