New Coaching Team Announced for First-Ever New Zealand Under-21 Women’s Rugby Squad
New Zealand Rugby has officially confirmed the coaching staff for the inaugural New Zealand Under-21 women's team. This new squad marks an important step in the development of young female rugby talent across the country.
The coaching group consists of three experienced figures: Hayden Triggs, Emma Jensen, and Solomona Paraki. Each coach brings a unique background to the team, and they will work together to prepare the players for upcoming international competition.
Emma Jensen is a former Black Ferns legend with extensive experience at the highest level of the game. Alongside her, Hayden Triggs and Solomona Paraki will provide technical expertise and leadership to help the young athletes transition into professional rugby.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen the pathway for women in New Zealand rugby. By creating an Under-21 team, the organization aims to bridge the gap between secondary school rugby and the senior professional level.
The formation of this team is a significant milestone for women's sport in New Zealand. Fans and supporters are looking forward to seeing how this new group of players performs on the international stage under the guidance of their new coaches.
