Norway and Ukraine sign new defense agreement
Norway and Ukraine have signed a new cooperation agreement to strengthen the military relationship between the two countries. The agreement was signed in Oslo on April 14 and marks an important step in the support for Ukraine in the ongoing war.
The most important point in the new declaration is closer cooperation on the development and production of drones. Drone technology has proven to be absolutely crucial in modern warfare, and Norway now wishes to contribute more actively to this field together with Ukrainian authorities.
In addition to drone production, the agreement provides for a deeper dialogue on the defense industry and technological exchange. The goal is for both countries to be able to benefit from each other's experiences to strengthen their own defense capabilities in the years to come.
This agreement is part of Norway's long-term support for Ukraine. The government emphasizes that the cooperation is important for both Ukrainian defense and for the general security situation in Europe.
The cooperation between Oslo and Kyiv is expected to start immediately. Authorities in both countries will now work further on concrete projects to put the plans into action.
