Chinese car brands are betting big on Norway
The Chinese car brands Omoda and Jaecoo are currently experiencing strong growth in the global market. In August, the companies sold a total of 65,576 vehicles, which is an increase of over 100 percent compared to the same month last year.
This major international success means the companies are now turning their attention to new markets. Norway is next in line, and it is expected that the new models will soon be available to Norwegian car buyers.
The Norwegian market is known for being far ahead when it comes to electric vehicles and new technology. Many new car brands from China have already established themselves in Norway in recent years, and the competition for customers is becoming increasingly fierce.
For now, it has not been confirmed exactly when the first cars from Omoda and Jaecoo will roll out onto Norwegian roads, or which models will arrive first. The automotive industry is now closely monitoring how these new players will challenge established brands in the time ahead.
