Ann-Kristin Ytreberg becomes the new leader of Grønt Punkt Norge
Grønt Punkt Norge has hired Ann-Kristin Ytreberg as its new CEO. The company is responsible for the collection and recycling of packaging in Norway and plays an important role in the country's work on the environment and sustainability.
Ytreberg comes from a similar position at the Eco-Lighthouse Foundation (Stiftelsen Miljøfyrtårn). There, she worked on certifying Norwegian businesses that wish to document their environmental efforts and demonstrate social responsibility.
The leadership change comes at a time when requirements for recycling and environmentally friendly packaging are becoming increasingly stringent in Norway and Europe. Her experience from Eco-Lighthouse means she has extensive knowledge of how companies can improve their environmental routines.
Grønt Punkt Norge is a key player for both the business community and consumers. With Ytreberg at the helm, it is expected that the organization will continue its work to make it easier for Norwegian companies to take responsibility for the packaging they put on the market.
