New partnership aims to get more girls interested in technology
The organization Girl Tech Norway has entered into a new partnership with the trade union Tekna. The goal of the partnership is to inspire more girls to choose science and technology in the future.
The project is specifically aimed at girls in the 5th grade. Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to learn about technology through practical tasks and activities.
By letting children work with technology in an engaging way, the organizations hope to remove barriers and create more interest in the field. They want to show that technology is for everyone, regardless of gender.
The initiative is part of a larger effort to increase recruitment to technological professions in Norway. By starting early in the school curriculum, they hope to build self-confidence and curiosity among the girls.
The collaboration between Girl Tech Norway and Tekna is an important step toward creating a more diverse technology environment in the years to come.
