Norway and Ukraine sign new defense cooperation agreement
Norway and Ukraine have signed a new cooperation agreement to strengthen the military relationship between the two countries. The agreement was signed in Oslo on April 14 and marks an important step in supporting Ukraine in its defense against Russia.
The central goal of the declaration is to deepen military cooperation. This includes, among other things, closer dialogue on security policy and joint efforts to develop modern defense solutions.
An important part of the new agreement is the focus on drone technology. The countries will cooperate on the production of drones, which is highly important for the Ukrainian defense effort in the ongoing war.
This agreement shows that Norway continues to be a key supporter of Ukraine. By combining Norwegian technology and industrial capacity with Ukrainian experience from the front line, the parties hope to strengthen military combat power.
The cooperation is part of a larger international effort to help Ukraine. The Norwegian government emphasizes that support for Ukraine is important for both Ukrainian and European security in the time ahead.
