Many out in the streets after the World Cup
It has been a busy night for the police in Agder after Norway was knocked out of the World Cup. Many people gathered in the cities to watch the match together, which led to a lot of activity in the streets throughout the evening and night.
Despite the high number of people in the city centers, the police report that the night has gone smoothly. There have been no reports of any major incidents or serious problems related to the celebrations or the disappointment following the match.
The police have had an extra focus on safety and order in the city landscape when so many people are gathered in one place. They are pleased that the public has behaved calmly, even though there were many people out in connection with the football events.
Now that the championship is over for Norway's part, the police expect that activity in the cities will return to normal again. They thank the residents for the fact that the night was characterized by a good atmosphere without any major challenges.
