Record-breaking participation for Fýri Trail in Hemsedal
The Fýri Trail by Salomon running competition is experiencing enormous growth. Since its inception in 2023, the number of participants has increased by a full 183 percent, meaning the event has grown from 600 to 1,700 runners in just four years.
In September of this year, Hemsedal will be filled with athletic joy as runners from around 30 different countries gather to participate. The sharp increase shows that interest in trail running in Norwegian mountain areas is greater than ever before.
The organizers behind Fýri Trail are very pleased with the development. The large influx of participants from both home and abroad confirms that Hemsedal has become a popular destination for active tourists who wish to combine sports with nature experiences.
