Tough start for Norway in the World Cup
The Norwegian national team had a very difficult start in Sunday's World Cup match against Morocco. Already after five minutes of play, it was clear that the Norwegian players were struggling to keep up with their opponents.
NRK's football expert, Carl-Erik Torp, followed the match closely and was clearly concerned about the play. He commented early on that the Norwegian team was being "pushed around" on the pitch, which describes how much pressure Norway was under in the opening minutes.
The match against Morocco is important for Norway's further chances in the championship. For the Norwegian supporters, the weak start was a disappointing experience, as many had hoped for a more controlled opening against the Moroccan opponent.
It remains to be seen how the national team will adjust their tactics after the tough start. The path forward in the tournament now requires a significant improvement if Norway is to have any hope of advancing from the group stage.
