Vipps becomes the name for everyone: MobilePay disappears

This means that the name MobilePay will disappear entirely, and all users in Norway, Denmark, and Finland will be brought together under the name Vipps.

The goal is to make it easier for both private individuals and businesses to send money and purchase goods, regardless of which Nordic country they are in.
For Norwegian users, daily life will largely remain the same, as Vipps is already a well-established service in Norway. Users in Denmark and Finland, however, will have to get used to the new name and the new app. The company states that they are working on updating the technology so that the service functions seamlessly for all 13 million users.
