New digital solution to simplify property buying and selling in Norway
Every year, approximately 100,000 property transfers take place in Norway. Many of these purchases require a so-called concession clearance from the authorities, a process that has often been time-consuming and paper-based.
Now, a new digital solution is being launched to make this process much easier. The goal of the new system is to automate case processing, allowing both citizens and municipalities to save valuable time.
The authorities expect that the digital solution will lead to significant savings for society. By removing manual tasks and paperwork, the processing of concession applications becomes both faster and more efficient for all parties.
The new technology is an important step in the digitalization of the public sector in Norway. The goal is for most property transfers in the future to be processed digitally without unnecessary waiting.
