Fewer Norwegian growth companies following sharp decline
The number of Norwegian growth companies continues to fall. New figures from EY's growth barometer show that we are now seeing a decline for the third year in a row, which is causing concern for the development of the business sector.
Since 2022, the number of companies in this category has fallen by a full 26 percent. This is a significant change that marks the end of a period of major growth in the Norwegian market.
This development now means that the number of growth companies is approaching the levels we saw before the coronavirus pandemic. Many experts are closely monitoring this trend to understand the reasons behind the fall.
It is currently unclear what consequences this development will have for the Norwegian economy in the long term. The situation shows that the Norwegian market is facing new challenges in the time ahead.
