Jovana Jovic becomes the new head of Volvo Car Norway
Swedish-born Jovana Jovic (43) has been hired as the new head of Volvo Car Norway AS. She is thus taking over responsibility for the company's sales office in Norway.
Jovic has extensive experience from the automotive industry and will now lead the Norwegian division at a time when the electric vehicle market is undergoing significant change. Volvo aims to become a purely electric car brand, and the new leader will play an important role in this work within the Norwegian market.
Norway is one of the most important markets for Volvo globally, especially due to the high proportion of electric cars sold here. Jovic will be responsible for following up on the company's strategy and ensuring continued growth in Norway.
The change in leadership is part of Volvo Cars' efforts to strengthen its position in Europe. It has not yet been announced exactly when Jovic will start in her new role, but she has already been appointed to the position.
