New leader to strengthen Norwegian health technology
Norway Health Tech, the country's largest cluster for health technology, has hired a new leader with a background in the bureaucracy. The organization currently consists of over 350 member companies working on innovative solutions for the healthcare sector.
The new leader will serve as a liaison between the many technology companies and the public sector. The goal is to create better cooperation between private actors and health authorities in Norway.
For many of the companies in the cluster, it is challenging to navigate public regulations and procurement processes. With experience from the bureaucracy, it is expected that the new leader can help ensure that new technology is adopted more quickly in Norwegian hospitals and doctor's offices.
This appointment is an important part of the work to modernize the Norwegian healthcare system. By combining technological expertise with public sector experience, Norway Health Tech hopes to solve the challenges of the future in the health sector in a more efficient way.
