Norwegian investor bets on European technology
Linn-Cecilie Linnemann has taken a new step in her career. She has left the investment firm Katapult to join the Dutch company Lumo Labs. There, she will work on managing a large fund that invests in new technology companies across Europe.
Lumo Labs focuses specifically on companies developing artificial intelligence (AI) and health technology. These are rapidly growing industries where there is a great need for both capital and expertise. Linnemann's role will be to find promising startups that can shape the solutions of the future within these fields.
For Norwegian investors and entrepreneurs, this is an interesting development. It shows that Norwegian talent is sought after in international investment circles. At the same time, it provides the Norwegian ecosystem with a closer connection to the European market for technology investments.
Linnemann brings experience from the Norwegian startup ecosystem into her new role. Her work at Lumo Labs will help shape which technological solutions receive support to grow in the years to come. This is an example of how Norwegian expertise contributes to innovation beyond national borders.
