Norwegian leaders are using artificial intelligence, but lack concrete results
Many Norwegian leaders have adopted artificial intelligence (AI) in their companies. A new survey called "Forte Puls 2026" shows that the technology is being used extensively in Norwegian working life, but that there are significant differences in how it is utilized compared to our neighboring countries.
Although the use of AI is high, the report shows that Norwegian companies are struggling to translate the technology into economic gain. Many leaders are unable to measure the actual value that the new tools are creating for the business. This stands in contrast to developments in countries like Denmark and Germany.
The survey reveals that Norwegian leaders are lagging behind when it comes to generating concrete revenue from their AI initiatives. While companies abroad focus to a greater extent on how the technology can increase profitability, it seems that many Norwegian companies lack a clear strategy for measuring success.
Experts point out that it is important to move from experimentation to more targeted use. For Norwegian companies to remain competitive in the future, they must become better at analyzing the results of their investments.
It remains to be seen whether Norwegian leaders will change course in the time to come. The focus moving forward will likely be on creating more business value from the digital tools that have already been implemented.
