The Norwegian Environment Agency enters into major IT agreements worth 1.3 billion kroner

The Norwegian Environment Agency has recently selected nine companies to provide IT services through new framework agreements. The contracts have a total value of 1.3 billion kroner over a period of four years.

Among the companies that have been awarded contracts are well-known players such as Bouvet, Bekk, Sopra Steria, and PwC. These companies will assist the agency with the development and operation of digital solutions in the coming years.

The purpose of the agreements is to strengthen the agency's ability to manage environmental data and develop digital tools for nature management. This is part of a larger initiative for digitalization in the public sector in Norway.

The nine companies were selected following an extensive tender competition. The Norwegian Environment Agency evaluated both price and quality when determining which suppliers were best qualified for the assignment.

The new agreements will come into effect shortly. The Norwegian Environment Agency expects that the collaboration with the selected IT companies will contribute to more efficient services for both employees and citizens.
