New collaboration to inspire more girls to pursue technology
The organization Girl Tech Norway has entered into a new collaboration with the trade union Tekna. The goal of the partnership is to increase interest in technology and science among young girls in Norway.
Through this project, girls in the 5th grade are given the opportunity to learn about technology in a practical way. By working on concrete tasks, the students will explore how technology functions in everyday life.
There is a great need for more women in the technology industry in the future. By starting such training early, the organizations hope that more girls will choose technical subjects when they get older.
