New collaboration aims to get more girls interested in technology
The organization Girl Tech Norway has entered into a new collaboration with the trade union Tekna. The goal of the partnership is to increase interest in technology and STEM subjects among young girls in Norway.
Through this project, girls in the 5th grade will have the opportunity to learn about technology through practical tasks. By working on concrete projects, the students get to see how STEM subjects can be used in everyday life.
There is a great need for more women in the technology industry in the future. By starting early with education and inspiration, the organizations hope that more girls will choose technical subjects later in their educational path.
The collaboration between Girl Tech Norway and Tekna is an important measure for creating more equality in the technology sector. The project aims to help more girls gain confidence and knowledge within fields that are often male-dominated.
