Changes in management at Hofseth BioCare
The company Hofseth BioCare ASA has announced that there are changes taking place in the company's management. The company is known for working with the sustainable utilization of resources in the Norwegian salmon industry.
Hofseth BioCare specializes in utilizing by-products from salmon production. Instead of parts of the fish being discarded as waste after the fillets have been cut out, the company converts these raw materials into valuable ingredients. This is an important part of the circular economy in the Norwegian seafood industry.
The business focuses on creating high-value products from what was previously considered residual waste. By using advanced technology, they can extract proteins, oils, and calcium that can be used in both food products and dietary supplements for humans and animals.
The changes in management come as part of the company's further strategy to develop the business. The company continues its work to make the salmon industry more efficient and environmentally friendly by ensuring that the entire fish is utilized in the best possible way.
