Samsung bets big on artificial intelligence with multi-billion investment
Technology giant Samsung Electronics has announced a comprehensive investment in the company Helix, which specializes in infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI). In total, the Samsung Group is investing 1 billion US dollars in the project.
Samsung Electronics itself is responsible for half of the amount, i.e., 500 million dollars. The remaining 500 million comes from five other companies affiliated with the Samsung Group. This demonstrates a clear strategy from the company to strengthen its position within the rapidly growing AI sector.
The investment will help build the necessary infrastructure required to develop and operate advanced AI solutions. Samsung plans to use its broad expertise across various technology fields to ensure that Helix can deliver effective tools to the market.
For consumers and the technology industry, this means that Samsung is preparing for a future where artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important role in everything from electronics to industrial systems. It is not yet known exactly which products or services will benefit from this technology first, but the initiative marks an important step for the company in the global competition for AI dominance.
