Major changes in Oslo's business sector: New office buildings take shape
Several major companies in Norway are now planning to move into new and modern premises in Oslo. This marks a shift in how many businesses want to organize their workplaces in the years to come.
PwC has recently signed an agreement to move its operations to "Over Spektrum." This is a new and prominent landmark building currently being constructed right above Oslo Spektrum, which is the country's largest arena for cultural and entertainment events.
At the same time, it is clear that AstraZeneca Norway has chosen to move its operations to Campus Ullevål. This area is known for bringing together many knowledge-based companies and research communities, making it an attractive location for companies within health and technology.
These relocation processes show a clear trend in the capital, where the business sector is seeking out new, centrally located office buildings. The development of these areas is helping to change the cityscape of Oslo and create new hubs for professional life.
