Norway and Germany enter into close space cooperation
Norway and Germany have entered into a new agreement for closer cooperation in the field of space. The news was confirmed by Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during a meeting between the two countries.
The cooperation marks an important milestone for Norwegian space technology. By working together with Germany, Norway gains better opportunities to develop new technology and participate in international projects in space. This is an area that is becoming increasingly important for both research and security.
The two countries will share knowledge and resources to achieve common goals in space. This partnership is expected to strengthen technological development in both countries, and it will provide Norwegian researchers and companies with new opportunities to compete in a global market.
The agreement is part of a larger commitment to European cooperation. By linking Norway more closely to Germany, the authorities want to ensure that Norway remains an important player when it comes to the exploration and use of space in the years to come.
