New leader to strengthen Norwegian health technology
Norway Health Tech, the country's largest health technology cluster, has hired a new leader with a background in the bureaucracy. The organization currently consists of over 350 member companies working to develop the health solutions of the future.
The purpose of the appointment is to create a closer connection between technological companies and the public healthcare system. By bringing in expertise from the bureaucracy, the cluster hopes to better understand political and administrative processes.
The 350 member companies in Norway Health Tech develop everything from digital patient tools to advanced medical equipment. Many of these companies find it challenging to get their products approved and adopted within the Norwegian healthcare system.
The new leader will now work to remove obstacles and facilitate better cooperation. This is an important step toward ensuring that new technology can more quickly benefit patients and employees in the healthcare sector.
With this change, Norway Health Tech aims to strengthen its position as a bridge-builder in the Norwegian innovation environment. The goal is for Norway to become a leading player in the development and implementation of health technology in the years to come.
