Norway and Ukraine sign new defense cooperation agreement
Norway and Ukraine have signed a new defense agreement intended to strengthen military cooperation between the two countries. The agreement was signed in Oslo on April 14 and marks a closer bond during a challenging time for Ukraine.
The most important point in the new declaration is cooperation on the production of drones. Drones have proven to be essential tools in the ongoing war, and Norway will now contribute both technology and resources to support the Ukrainian defense industry.
The Norwegian government emphasizes that this cooperation is part of its long-term support for Ukraine. By producing equipment together, the countries hope to make the Ukrainian defense more efficient and better equipped to meet the challenges on the battlefield.
This agreement is an extension of the comprehensive aid Norway is already providing to Ukraine through the Nansen Support Program. The cooperation on drones is a concrete measure that demonstrates how Norway is actively contributing to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities in the years to come.
